At 29 weeks, your baby is gaining approximately 200 grams per week as fat accumulates under the skin. The adrenal glands are producing a precursor to estrogen, which stimulates your body to produce breast milk. Your baby can detect your emotional state through changes in your heart rate and hormone levels.
