For Anxiety and Sorrow During Pregnancy

Allāhumma innī ʿabduka, ibnu ʿabdika, ibnu amatika, nāṣiyatī biyadik, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuk, ʿadlun fiyya qaḍāʾuk. Asʾaluka bi-kulli ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fī kitābik, aw ʿallamtahu aḥadan min khalqik, aw istaʾtharta bihi fī ʿilmil-ghaybi ʿindak, an tajʿalal-Qurʾāna rabīʿa qalbī, wa nūra ṣadrī, wa jalāʾa ḥuznī, wa dhahāba hammī.
O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant and the son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand; Your command over me is carried out and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught to any of Your creation, or kept with Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, to make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the removal of my sorrow and the release of my anxiety.
