Evening Dhikr for Pregnant Women

Evening Dhikr for Pregnant Women

أَذْكَارُ الْمَسَاءِ
The evening adhkar close the day in surrender and gratitude. Through restless third-trimester nights, these remembrances are the believing mother's answer to worry — the night, the sleep, and the baby are all entrusted to Allah.

1. Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillahi walhamdu lillah

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillahi walhamdu lillah
We have entered evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah
Source: Muslim 2723

2. Allahumma bika amsayna wa bika asbahna wa bika nahya wa bika namutu wa ilaykal-masir

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Allahumma bika amsayna wa bika asbahna wa bika nahya wa bika namutu wa ilaykal-masir
O Allah, by You we enter the evening, by You we enter the morning, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the final return
Source: Tirmidhi 3391

3. Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter

Frequently Asked Questions

What time do evening adhkar begin?

From Asr until Maghrib, though reciting after Maghrib or before sleep remains valid. Many pregnant mothers attach them to a fixed anchor — after the Asr prayer or while winding down for the night — so the habit survives tiredness.
